Catastrophic Storm Damage
Water pipes ended up being broken at this Northern Michigan school as a result of the roof being torn off from catastrophic storm damage. The water pipes bursting caused large amounts of flooding to the entire school. These flood waters were at least a foot deep, and caused large amounts of secondary water damage. There was not a single area in the school that was spared. The library completely caved in, classrooms became waterlogged from flooding and much of the school’s equipment was destroyed. SERVPRO was on the scene right away to help with the catastrophic storm response and performed full mitigation services, content evaluations, content restoration, electronics restoration, and engineered a temporary roof rebuild.
